Train Horros and Mate

I find it so funny to see when people are being called on their mobile phones and only then realise how funny their ringtone actually is. Like, a very neat man clothed with a tie, glasses and a suitcase is sitting next to you. All of a sudden a too loud song with the lamest childish melody arises. The man is all off a sudden moving upwards, digging into his pocket and making most effort in picking up his phone very quickly so the melody stops as fast as possible. Kind of relieved he answers the phonecall, though with reddish cheeks and checking out who saw it.
Thanks to my camera, sudokus, newspapers free chocolate almonds and music I really enjoyed the 8 hours travel.
At The Ostbahnhof Berlin, Anja was waiting for me. We went towards her house she shares with two of her friends. The house is actually a very big and probably quite old house. It is so nice and it makes me feel like making a music-pie cafe out of it and play hide and seek all day long.
After I installed myself in My Own Private Room (luxury!) we went out for a walk. We got a very nice falafel in a kind of wrap(not from the microwave fortunately) which was toasted in a panini toaster. During the walk we passed a park where people were housing themselves in eco-trailers with solar energy. Then we walked trough a park where about Anja told me there were a lot of illegal immigrants hanging around over there, and the police sometimes just goes there and take a lot of people with them and arrest them all of a sudden. When we sat down in a third park, there was a group of women practicing Tai-Chi skills, which was very relaxing to watch at.The streets and places I saw today were full of graffiti, people and dogs.
For dinner we went to a place Anja comes quite often. It used to be a hospital, but people squaded it for some time. Now they kind of turned it into 'a place to be' for extreme left people. Every monday, Anja told me, they cook a huge meal, and anybody can come eat from it for only two euros and hanging around. The food they make is all vegan. We had potatoes with a lot of vegetables in a sauce of cocomilk and curry powder and some Kohl Rabi. After the dinner, they showed a documentary about Shell planning to put a gaspipe trough the Irish countryside trough peoples properties without actually discussing it and so on. It was kind of interesting. But I am not so sure what to tell about it. The discussion and fight against the gaspipe is still going n nowadays, so if you are interested, just google 'shell, Ireland, gas, rosswell five (something like that)and you will find out more about shell breaking laws very very easy. After the documentary we went home exhausted and I got into my very nice own room. I slept like a Rose =D
What will tomorrow bring?
I should not forget mentioning Anja got me introduced with a drink called Mate today. Its a drink i would describe as 'beer with sugar and lots of caffeine and without alcohol in a glass bottle'. It is a very popular drink here in Berlin, funny how we probably never heard of it.
